George Mason University Hosts Ice Hockey Game to Benefit Military Families

The George Mason University Patriot Ice Hockey team is holding a charity game against the NCR Military Eagles that will benefit TAPS and the Mt. Vernon Square UMC Shower Ministry for the Homeless. The game will be held on December 7, 2013 at 2:30 at the Prince William Ice Center. Admission is $10. TAPS is the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors and is an organization that offers resources for anyone who has suffered the loss of a military loved one. Mt. Vernon Square UMC Shower Ministry for the Homeless offers showers and food for the homeless among us.

In addition to the game, there will also be a silent auction for NHL, NFL, NBA and MLB memorabilia as well as a raffle. The Prince William Ice Center is located at 5180 Dale Boulevard, Woodbridge, VA  22193.
