The Loudoun County Arbor Day celebration is Saturday, April 30, 2011, at The Hill School, 130 South Madison Street, Middleburg.  Festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. and will continue until 3:00 p.m.  The free, family-friendly event will feature many activities, exhibits and demonstrations highlighting the countless benefits that are associated with trees. Student winners of the annual Arbor Day Poster Contest will be recognized at the event by Loudoun County Public Schools Superintendent Edgar Hatrick, and Loudoun County Administrator Tim Hemstreet, who will be the keynote speaker for the event.
