Monza of Old Town Manassas is hosting The Send Kids to Camp Campaign on Thurs., June 26 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Monza at 9405 Battle Street in Manassas, Va. to benefit Youth Leadership Prince William, a program geared toward teaching professional skills to emerging young leaders. ALL GREENWAY TOLLS GO TO CHARITY ON MAY 15TH

On May 15, the Dulles Greenway will hold its 9th Annual Drive for Charity event.  The Greenway will use the tolls collected that day to fund the Dulles Greenway Citizenship Award which grants scholarships to one student from each of the thirteen Loudoun County high schools, and to contribute to the five charities below. The Greenway has proudly donated a total of $1.7 million in the past eight years to the scholarship program and various charities.

March of Dimes (National Capital Area) – The Greenway has helped the NICU Family Support Project fund a Family Support Specialist at INOVA Fairfax Hospital for Children to oversee activities of the program, as well as support activities in the program (patient care kits, parent education hours and patient safety classes).

Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA) raised $8,000 at their second Annual Benefit Concert to go toward construction of their Black  Box Theatre project in Alexandria, Va. Metropolitan Youth Ballet, Metropolitan Youth Tap Ensemble and iMpulse Jazz Ensemble performed at the concert at the George Washington National Memorial in Alexandria, Va., hosted by FOX 5’s anchor, Annie Yu.

Benefit for Ashburn Children Who Lost Both Parents

In November, the eight children of Ashburn’s Kraus family were suddenly orphaned when their mother unexpectedly passed away. Sadly, the children had already lost their father three years ago. To help out the Kraus children, the George Mason Ice Hockey team is holding a benefit game on Saturday March 15 at 3:50PM, with the current team playing the university’s alumni team.  All of the proceeds from this exhibition/benefit game, which will be held at Prince William Ice Center will be dedicated to the Kraus Children Fund.
