Final Suspect Charged in Botched Home Invasion Robbery

From Loudoun Sheriff:

Loudoun County, VA:  The final suspect has been charged in the botched home invasion robbery on E. Kennedy Rd., the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has announced.

Warrants were served yesterday (March 17th) on Scott Alexander Walker, 32, of Harper’s Ferry, WV.  Walker is charged with one count each of Attempted Robbery While Armed and Burglary with the Intent to Commit Robbery.

Walker is believed to be one of three men who entered a residence at 1205 E. Kennedy Rd. in Sterling on February 10th and attempted to rob the occupants.  During an altercation, Walker was shot by a resident and fled the scene with an accomplice, arriving at a hospital shortly afterward.  Another accomplice was also shot at the scene and died of his injuries.

Investigators delayed charging Walker until he recovered from his injury.  He is being held without bond at the Loudoun Adult Detention Center, pending an arraignment later today.
