LCSO Seeks Information on Vandalism to Vehicles in Ashburn Area

Loudoun County, VA:  The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information from the public after numerous cars were spray painted and vandalized in Ashburn. A majority of the vandalism occurred in the Ashburn Village community.  
Between Saturday, April 30, 2011 and Sunday May 1, 2011 unknown suspect(s) spray painted nine vehicles in the area of Rainsboro Drive, Ruffsdale Court, Catlett Place, Brostow Circle and Mustoe Place. In most cases the number ‘6’ or ‘68’ was spray painted on the vehicles.   
There were several other cases where vandals damaged the windows and tires of vehicles. Vehicles were damaged on Dubois Court and Ridgeway Drive. Three vehicles had their tires slashed on Shady Glen Terrace. Two vehicles also had their tires slashed on Harbor Hills Terrace in Leesburg during the same time period. It is unclear if this incident is related to the other cases of vandalism.
