From Loudoun Sheriff:

Loudoun County, VA:  The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to help identify a suspect involved in an auto theft.

On June 29, 2011 the victim was contacted by a subject regarding his 1995 Acura that was placed for sale on Auto Trader. The suspect set up a time and place to meet the next day to test drive the vehicle. The suspect and victim drove to two gas stations in Loudoun where the suspect “attempted” to get the vehicle inspected. The suspect was then able to persuade the victim to allow him to drive by himself to the bank to get money for the transaction. The suspect was able to lose the victim in traffic and did not return with the money.

Images of the suspect were captured on surveillance video at one of the gas stations and can be viewed on the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office YouTube page at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HOhu7yb6qA. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’8” in height with a medium build. The stolen vehicle is a 1995 black Acura NSX-T Coupe. Video of the stolen vehicle can be viewed here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sf92kutIKU.

If you have any information regarding the identity of this suspect or the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle you are asked to contact Investigator C. Staub of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Auto Theft Prevention Unit at 703-777-0475.
