Suspect in Leesburg Church Burglary Charged in Similar Case at Arcola Methodist Church

Loudoun County, VA:  Loudoun County Sheriff’s Investigators have charged a suspect in connection with the June 13, 2011 burglary of the Arcola Methodist Church.   
  
Brent Andrew Morgan, 30, of no fixed address, is accused of entering the church located on Evergreen Mills Road in Arcola, VA and removing electronics, including a laptop and two televisions.   
  
Loudoun Sheriff’s Investigators worked with Detectives with the Leesburg Police Department after they had a similar burglary at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints over the weekend of June 25-26, 2011. After receiving a tip from a citizen on the Leesburg Crime Line, the Leesburg Police Department charged Morgan on July 1, 2011 with Burglary and Possession of Burglarious Tools. He was also charged by Leesburg Police Detectives with Grand Larceny in reference to a previously unknown/unreported theft of a residence he was staying at in Leesburg.  
  
Morgan has been charged by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Property Crimes Unit with felony burglary. He is currently being held in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on unrelated charges.
