LCSO Seeks Public’s Assistance to Help Identify Suspect Possibly Involved in Burglary

From Loudoun Sheriff:

Loudoun County, Virginia- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to help identify a suspect who was caught on surveillance video attempting to cash a check that was stolen in a July 15, 2011 burglary in Ashburn, Virginia.

In July, Loudoun County Sheriff’s Investigators learned of a burglary that took place at a residence on Hiddengrove Court. During the burglary electronics and blank checks were taken.

An unknown Black male later attempted to cash one of the stolen checks in the amount of $600 at the Suntrust Bank on Kenmore Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia. Investigators today released surveillance video stills of the possible suspect in hopes that someone from the community may be able to identify him.

Thank You Dr. Seuss!

Thank You Dr. Seuss

“Oh the Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss has a very special place in my life, and from speaking and listening to others, it holds similar value. I was given this when I was going through a major transition in my life and it helped me focus and reaffirm my confidence in myself.

If you haven’t had the pleasure of reading this book, it’s a ‘must read’. Don’t be fooled by the child-like style Seuss’ books have.  The messages are clearly for all ages.

Dr. Seuss discusses the ‘Great Balancing Act that is life itself, and all the ups and downs it presents’. What I love is that he encourages us to ‘find the success that lies within us’. As Dr. Seuss says, ‘And will you succeed? Yes! You will indeed! 98 and ¾ percent guaranteed.’
