The 5th annual sporting events saw participation from 150 residents at the community
(Ashburn, Va.) – Residents at Ashby Ponds recently participated in the community’s 5th annual Summer Olympics. For a full week, residents participated in a variety of indoor and outdoor events resulting in the presentation of gold, silver, and bronze medals. This year, 150 residents competed in the Summer Olympics, making for the largest participation rate in the community’s five-year history.
From August 5th-12th, residents at Ashby Ponds competed in a walking relay, bocce, seated balloon volleyball, cornhole, Wii bowling, a sponge relay, water volleyball, Frisbee toss, ping pong, putting, and billiards.
